Via kottke: Reading Rainbow is going off the air today after 26 years, making it the third longest running show on PBS (after Sesame Street and Mister Rogers Neighborhood).

    loved this show as a kid….there was another great show that came right after, some guy teaching you how to draw using geometric shapes (squares, triangles, circles – and their 3D complements)…can’t remember what that one was called…
